Two students make RBU proud, selected for internship in US

Mohali, Jan 9: Two students of the Rayat Bahra University, Sachleen Singh, of the Computer Science department and Simranjit Singh Khurmi, of Mechanical Department, University School of Engineering and Technology (USET), have done the university proud by getting selected for Internship Programme at Arkansas State University, Jonesboro, USA. Apart from learning and honing their technical skills in their respective domains the two students would be exposed to the work environment of the industries there. During their stay of six months in the US during their internship the two students would get an opportunity to learn cultural values of that part of the world and also get the chance to showcase their own traditions and values. Dr Ajay Goyal, Dean of the University School of Engineering and Technology (USET) congratulated the students and wished them luck in their future endeavors. Dr Daljit Singh, Vice-Chancellor of the Rayat Bahra University, congratulated the students on their selection. Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chancellor of the Rayat Bahra University and Chairman of the Group, lauded the selection of the two students for the internship programme in the US. He said that the Rayat Bahra University continuing its endeavour to introduce new programmes for the students the University had introduced a large number of new age courses in collaboration with top multinational companies to increase the employment potential of the students.
