Poonch, Jan 9: Press Club Poonch organized meet and discussed important issues of Poonch under the Presidentship of Salil Raina in which various issues were raised. The members said that the level of journalism has come down to a low level with the entry of some forces who are using this platform to settle their personal scores. The members informed the district administration to start verifying the credentials of those people who are projecting them as Media personnel and are indulging in unethical activities and bringing a bad name to this fourth estate. Anubhav Misri Gen Secretary, Dhanuj Sharma Vice President, Rajesh Tandon Joint Secretary, JB Singh Cashier were also present on the occasion and raised the issue of Press club building for press fraternity of Poonch. The members said that many times, the issue of Press club building was raised but district administration always gave a cold shoulder. The press club members in one voice demand the construction of Press club building in Media complex Poonch. They also appealed to DC and SSP Poonch to identify those persons who are projecting themselves as Media persons. |
