Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 9: Awkward scenes were witnessed at the press club during the press conference of Safina Baig, PDP women wing president as journalists boycotted the event after the Safina had a scuffle with the journalists.
Safina Baig in the earliest moment said the press conference will be around the women empowerment and any question outside the topic will not be entertained. While she was speaking on of the journalists interfered and starting asking questions, Safina intervened and said that she is yet to complete her point.
As the press conference was over questions from all the corners were thrown at the Safina Baig. She answered few questions to some questions which were relevant and she dogged the questions which she felt was inappropriate.
One of the journalists working for the online portal asked her to comment on two different situations, one was why Mehbooba Mufti was keen of having CBI enquiry in Shopian rape and murder case. And why the former Chief Minister felt different for the Kathua rape and murder case.
Safina answered the question and said that case is still going in the court, but it turned into a heating argument when question got different from the said subjects. Safina told the journalist to get out and all the journalist in the press club moved out of the club and boycotted the event. The journalist felt that the Safina misbehaved with the journalists forcing them to move out.
