| Social issues highlighted in police public meet in Mendhar | | |  Early Times Report
MENDHAR, Jan 9: As part of its "efforts to improve public relations", Police organised a public meet at Police Station Mendhar and Gursai area of Mendhar Sub Divsion The meet was chaired by SSP Poonch Ramesh Kumar Angral and SDPO Mendhar Neeraj Padyar
As per a statement issued here, the participants highlighted various issues including drug abuse, social crimes, stalking, and police related problems faced by the general public. They were assured timely remedy of their grievances.
Speaking on the occasion, SSP Poonch said Police is meant to serve general public who are free to visit any police station at any time. He sought support and co-operation of general public for eradication of social crimes in the area. Police officials and large number of publics were also present on the occasion. |
