| NSS winter camps concludes at GDC Thannamandi | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 9: Seven days NSS winter camp organized by NSS Unit of GDC Thannamandi concluded with the valedictory function held in the college smart room.
Dr. Mohammad Tanveer Khan SDM Thannamandi was the chief guest on the occasion and Principal of college Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Raina presided over the function.
During the programme the best performers in different activities conducted during the camp were awarded certificate and momentous.
Earlier the programee started with recitation of few verses of Holy Quran by Touqeer Ahmed NSS volunteer of the college. NSS programme officer of the college Prof. Saleem Ayaz Rather welcomed the audience and presented report of the camp. A documentary of the winter camp prepared by NSS volunteer Shahid Anjum was also shown through power point presentation whiles speaking at the occasion SDM Thannamandi Dr. Mohd Tanveer Khan appreciated the college for its best performance and also advised the student to participate in different programmes for all round development.
NSS volunteers also presented a very impressive cultural programme at the occasion.
Two students Danish Bashir and Iqra Fatima also spoke on the occasion and shared their views regarding the camp. Atiya Mirza NSS volunteer compared the programme where as Sami Ul Fatima presented formal vote of thanks. |
