Jammu, Jan 14: In an ongoing 12th Christmas Gold Cup Football tournament two matches were played at the Science College on Monday. 12th Christmas Gold Cup Football tournament is being organized by All J&K Christian Welfare Association. In the first match of the day, J&K Bank Academy defeated Vijay Club FC by 1-0. Ilyas scored the winning goal for the team in the 65th minute. In the 90th minute of the match, J&K Bank Academy kept the most of the possession. In the second match of the day, DFA Anantnag won the match by tie breaker 5-3 against Jammu United. DFA Anantnag held their nerves and scored the goals where as Jammu United fell short and could not capitalize during the tie breaker. Match referee of the match were Ricky Kumar, Dil Bahadur, Vijay Kumar, Dheeaj Meenia, Mohinder Kalsi (Physio). On Tuesday, Arco Baramulla will face Sainik Colony in the morning, while as Hero FC will take on J&K SRTC in the late afternoon. |
