Another employee alleges harassment by I/C CAHO

Kishtwar, Jan 14: The controversies surrounding the Incharge Chief Animal Husbandry Officer (CAHO) Kishtwar have refused to die down as another employee of the department alleged harassment on part of the officer involving his performing of Hajj rituals last year by withholding his salaries despite the fact that the said employees fulfilled all the requisite codal formalities for undertaking the hajj pilgrimage.
As per the details available with ET, Mohammad Akbar of Marwah approached Principal Secretary to Animal Husbandry Asgar Samoon with a written complaint alleging harassment by I/C CAHO Kishtwar Dr. Sanjay Kumar Sen stating that he was performing his duties at FAC Gumeri and that he left for vaccination required to be taken before proceeding for Hajj pilgrimage on 26-6-2018 for Kishtwar and put his leave with the office of Tehsildar Warwan since no senior official of the department was available in the area, but his salary was withheld. He appealed the Principal Secretary to direct the concern authorities to release his withheld salaries.
After going through the content of the application, Principal Secretary Animal Husbandry Department directed the Director Animal Husbandry Jammu to look into the matter and get the salary of the applicant released, but to no avail.
Speaking to ET, Mohammad Akbar said that he is among few employees of the department who was attending his duty in the area but he was being harassed despite that. He said that his fake absent case has been prepared with fake stamps of Numabrdar and Chowkidars of the area while public of Warwan was appreciative of his regularity. He said that he even approached DC Kishtwar who instated of listening to him used harsh and threatening language against him.
It is pertinent to mention that a Doctor of Animal Husbandry Department Kishtwar has already submitted a complaint against I/C CAHO Kishtwar for his misconduct, Harassment and official apathy to the higher authorities demanding either the transfer of I/C CAHO Kishtwar or all the eight doctors who are signatory to the complaint.
The officials of the department also accused I/C CAHO Kishtwar of favoritism of one Manzoor Ahmed Kichloo, posted at LDC Mand District Udhampur by not relieving him despite GAD and Departmental orders of detachments of all the attached employees.
