Sham Sharma releases Dogri Song "Kaade Aao Sade Bede"

Jammu, Jan 14: On the eve of Lohri and Makarskranti "Khand Mithe Log Dogre"in collaboration with Trinetra production and SW records released a Dogri Song "Kaden Aao Sade Bede"at Press club Jammu.
Eminent politician and Former Minister Sham Lal Sharma was the chief whereas Zorawar Singh Jamwal,Chairman Team Jammu was the guest of honour, Gourav Gupta and Shwetima Jamwal were the special guest on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, the former Minister appreciated the effort of the singer for producing the Dogri song for all generation. He said the work of the singer will help the Dogri speaking people of Jammu region to know more about the language and encourage Jammu people to remain connected with their roots. He exhorted the singer to work hard to promote the Dogri language and culture which is the rich heritage of this region. He also appreciated the efforts of the "Khand Mithe Log Dogrey" for its efforts to revive the age old traditions and preserving the rich ethos of Dogra culture, said the former Minister. Sham Lal strongly advocated for introduction of Dogri subjects in the schools from the elementary level as the language has been included in the 8th Schedule.
He said the language should get its prominence at all levels. He also stressed that parents should freely interact with their children in local language to promote it from the homes.
He said children must have knowledge of all languages, but mother language is must to carry on the traditions and culture and density. "We should make collective efforts to protect our rich culture and language for the coming generations as language is our identity", Sham maintained.
