KISHTWAR, Jan 19: In a shocking incident that creates ripples in wee hours of Saturday morning in Kishtwar District after a newly born female child was found dead inside a drain in Kishtwar bus stand.
As per the details available with Early Times, the Safaie Karamchari of Municipal Committee Kishtwar while cleaning the drain at Bus Stand Kishtwar found the dead body of the child.
As soon as the Municipality employee notice the dead body of newly born, large number of people assembled at the spot and brought the matter into the notice of Kishtwar police who immediately rush to the spot and shifted the dead body to District Hospital Kishtwar for autospy.
After seizing the dead body of newly born female child, Kishtwar police register the FIR against unknown persons and started its investigation. Police also check the birth record at Kishtwar hospital and on the bases of the said record, Kishtwar police detain one person for questioning while at the same time is looking for another one.
While talking to Early Times, a senior police officer said that they have rounded up few suspect in this heart wrenching incident. He said that police is hopeful to crack the case and will accordingly brief the media about the same shortly. |
