| Govt High school Laddan building unsafe | | Poses threat to students' lives | |  Arun Jasrotia

Udhampur, Jan 19: Despite tall claims of Education department, the future of thousands of poor students reading in government schools of Udhampur District is in jeopardy due to lack of proper Infrastructure , accommodation, teaching staff and other amenities.
Presently the lives of over 150 students of Government High School, Laddan area of District Udhampur, are in risk as they are forced to study in their dilapidated/Unsafe school building.
There is always a fear among students that the portion of the structure might fall anytime. The risk increases especially during the rainy season when the building develops big cracks. Students of Govt High school Laddan said that we feel inconvenience to get studies as our school building is unsafe adding to it said that there is 150 above students get studies in our school and have four room but the rooms develop cracks and the school building is unsafe.
There is lack of infrastructure and we appeal to the Governor to instruct the department to repair the school building. Kusum lata teacher said that our school building is unsafe and during rain the rainwater enters inside due to the broken tin roof. Chief Planning officer Udhampur Rajeev Bushan assured will soon Repair the school Building so that the student's get Proper education. |
