Genuine SSL suppliers implicated falsely to favour blue eyed
'JAKEDA becomes hub of corruption'
1/19/2019 11:27:13 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 19: The Jammu and Kashmir Energy Development Agency has virtually turned into a hub of corruption where genuine suppliers are being discouraged by implicating wrongly to give benefit to a blue eyed, who has been remained notorious for his misdeeds in State Power Development Corporation.
Sources told Early Times that manufacturers of AC/DC LED lights and Solar Lights with different products in Jammu were issued one trial order for supply and commissioning of Solar Street Lights from JAKEDA through participation in e-tendering bid. "But a solar mafia being run by a serving officer, got lodged a false complaint through its tout who is an advocate by profession against genuine suppliers and managed to get withheld their payments just to divert the attention of these suppliers in litigations and giving benefit to their blue eyed with the blessings of an official of Science and Technology Department," they said.
The same official of Science and Technology Department had favored his blue eyed by covering his wrong deeds of State Power Development Corporation where he was the sole beneficiary of very exorbitant prices for supply of Solar Home Lights System under SAUBHAGYA scheme which is alleged to be ordered without tendering, they informed.
Moreover the official S&T issued instruction to JAKEDA for not making payments who have made supplies to JAKEDA till Vigilance clearance to favour his blue eyed but shockingly when a former official of JAKEDA was arrested and FIR lodged against him over corruption charges, the payments were never stopped.
If sources are to be believed, this former JAKEDA official and the blue eyed are hand in glove with an S&T official, who is helping to get them the projects of RMSA and paving way to get transferred RMSA project to JAKEDA for realizing their nefarious designs.
