Kishtwar, Jan 28: Dulhasti Power Station celebrated 70th Republic Day at Dulhasti Power Station Kishtwar with patriotic fervor and enthusiasm. General Manager and in charge Yoginder Kotha, unfurled the Tricolor National Flag and saluted. Further, Yoginder Kotha inspected the parade of CISF contingent after national anthem.
While speaking on the occasion, chief guest Kotha remembered the martyrs of independence and paid tribute to those, who sacrificed life for the country. Further, he remembered the father of constitution of India and associated members of the constituted committee. Nation will remain always indebted to the freedom fighters and other great statesman of the country, he expressed in his speech.
Kotha highlighted the achievements of the country which are leading India to become power of the world and mentioned the role of NHPC in infrastructural development of the country through attributing clean power. Kotha highlighted the contribution of Dulhasti power Station in the development of local area, through CSR activities as per policies of the corporation.
Yoginder appreciated the officers and employees of the power station towards their commitment in achieving the targets well before the given time.
A cultural programme was performed by the students and teachers of Kendriya Vidyalaya and NHPC employees. Suresh Kumar, General Manager (Elect), R.K. Sahani, Commandant CISF, Principal Kendriya Vidyalaya, officers, employees, families, representatives of Unions and local residents were present during the function. |
