Anantnag, Jan 28: Unidentified gunmen shot at and injured a former Army man, presently working as a guard in Jammu and Kashmir Bank, in Tral area of south Kashmir's Pulwama district.
The injured man has been identified as 38-year-old Tariq Ahmad Wani, son of Abdul Rasheed, a resident of Reshipora area of Tral.
Wani was an Army man and had retired a few years ago from active service in 8 Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry (JAKLI).
He later joined the Jammu and Kashmir Bank as a guard and was presently posted at the bank's branch in Dadsara area of Tral.
