Special Cleanliness drive organised by NSS

JAMMU, Feb 6: Special Cleaniness Drive was organised by NSS wing of Government MAM College and installation of dustbins in college campus and other untidy areas in the presence of the Guests and faculty members.
Principal Dr. Subash Sharma welcomed the guests with warm words. Dr. Anirudh Rai, Collector Northern Railways Udhampur Reasi was the Chief Guest, while Dr. Twinkle Suri, Dean Student Welfare was the Guest of Honour on the occasion. The other Senior Faculty members who showered their precious support in this Cleaniness drive were Prof. Muzammal Hussain, Prof. Muneer Hussain and Prof. Subash Sharma.
The Special Cleaniness Drive started with the Manish Jain, owner, SaraswatiPlastotech India Pvt. Ltd. Bari-Brahmana, Jammu showed his gratitude to the Cleanliness Drive by donating dust-bins. Assistant Dean Cluster University, Prof. Devinder Kumar Sharma host of drive presented momentous to the dignitaries present.
Dr. Twinkle Suri, Guest of Honour of the occasion, gave an impressive and powerful lecture on cleanliness.
Addressing the gathering during her lecture she explained the importance of cleanliness by saying "The aim of cleanliness's not to make everything clean, but to feel the happiness living within that enviornment." After the lecture Dr. Anirudh Rai , the Chief Guest, motivated and inspired the students with his personal life encounters with the adulterated and untidy enviornment. His speech came to an end with the famous slogan "Clean habit and white rabbit both gives nature a nicer look". His words showed that cleaniness his very important for living happily.
The programme was followed by the proceedings of Jahangir Ahmed and Sonil Chowdhary. The function came to an end with the vote of thanks by Prof. Devinder kumar Sharma, Programme Officer (NSS), by thanking the valuable guests and entire team of NSS for their Gracious presence.
