Hurt after boycott of Panchayat, ULB polls by PDP, Governor availing all opportunities to expose Mehbooba

Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 6: Known for his blunt speech, Governor Satya Pal Malik today exposed former chief minister Mehbooba Mufti for supporting terrorists and their sympathizers to stop her party for disintegration.
For the last two months especially after Panchayat and Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) elections, Governor is availing every opportunity and every platform to expose Kashmir centric parties especially PDP for playing with lives of innocent Kashmiri youth to regain lost ground in Kashmir Valley.
Credible sources said that Governor is badly hurt after PDP had boycotted Panchayat and ULBs elections despite that fact he had violated protocol and visited residence of Mehbooba Mufti to appeal her to participate in these elections.
Today during an informal chat with media persons, Governor made a scathing attack on Mehbooba Mufti for supporting terrorists. "You must have sympathy with Mehbooba Mufti, she is finding it difficult to keep her flock together because her party is going to be disintegrated", Governor said when his attention was drawn towards recent statements of PDP president.
Earlier on January 31, Governor had lambasted PDP and said that such parties do not want peace in the state as they were more interested in their "own empowerment".
The Governor said he had requested both former Chief Ministers - Omar Abdullah and Mehbooha Mufti - to participate in panchayat elections as it would benefit and empower the people of the state.
"But they decided to boycott the elections because they did not want empowerment of the people. They wanted their own empowerment. They were afraid of the panchayat elections and that is why they decided to boycott the polls. But we decided to hold the elections for the betterment of people," Malik had stated.
The PDP had decided to boycott the Panchayat elections because party not want empowerment of people. They only wanted their own empowerment. They were afraid of contesting the elections and that is why they decided to boycott them", he had stated.
