JAMMU, Feb 6: One day Awareness-cum-demonstration programme was held at Toll Plaza, Ban Nagrota Jammu, which was organized by Civil Defence Jammu in collaboration with SP Jammu Udhampur Highway Ltd.
The awareness campaign was held under the guidance of V. K. Singh, IPS, DGP, Commandant General Homeguards/CD & SDRF J&K, Muneer Ahmad Khan, IPS, ADGP HG/CD & SDRF J&K, Vikas Gupta, JKPS, SSP, Incharge DIG HG/CD and SDRF Jammu and under the supervision of Dy. SP Shashi Thakur, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu.
In the awareness Camp Toll Plaza staff, officials of NHAI and other local people of the area where make aware about the knowledge of First Aid, (CPR, Chocking,) and Fire fighting and rescue techniques by the Civil Defence Instructors.
Speaking on the occasion Dy. SP Shashi Thakur, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu, highlighted the role and importance of Civil Defence organization and delivered a valuable lecture on the topic of Disaster Management. Adarsh Pandotra, Team Leader SP Jammu Udhampur Highway Ltd. also present on the occasion and highly appreciated the role of Civil Defence organization and thanked Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu and her team for organizing such important awareness/demonstration programme in collaboration with SP Jammu Udhampur Highway Limited. |
