Plus-2 Lecturers' Forum holds interactive session with Director School Education

Jammu, Feb 6: A Delegation of All J&K Plus-2 lecturers' Forum called on Director School Education School (DSEJ), Jammu Anuradha Gupta in her office Chambers under the chairmanship of State President, Deepak Sharma and had an interactive session with her to discuss various problems and issues concerning plus two community.
The delegation demanded issuance of formal order for benefit of earned leave in favour of those lecturers engaged in CM Super 50 summer tutorials during vacations. The members also demanded timely submission of data to the Administrative Department for favour of promotions and regularization process.
The delegation further sought Director School Education Jammu's intervention in creation of subject specific need based posts at Plus-2 level and rationalization thereof. The members also suggested having admission process at Central level in a school and redistribution of students according to their residences for optimum utilisation of human resources and infrastructure. Forum also demanded fixation of tenure of one year only in all hard areas on analogy of Ladakh region and timely completion of transfer process for repatriation of those working in far flung areas away from their homes. Forum hailed worthy Secretary School Education Department and his team including Director School Education, Jammu for release of promotion lists of Joint Directors, CEOs and equivalents and Principals and hoped that promotion lists of Senior Lecturers will soon be released as per 1/3rd cadre strength and also demanded another promotion list of Principals as number of vacancies are still lying vacant.
Deepak Sharma also urged Director School Education, Jammu to use her good office in according sanction to time bound promotion assured career progression scheme (ACP) in favour of Plus-2 Lecturers to remove age long stagnation in their career. Other demands included revocation of SRO-202, fixation of induction quota in favour of Plus-2 Lecturers or repatriation of Joint Directors from KAS cadre working in School Education Department to their parent cadre, restoration of 40% College quota in favour of Lecturers and non-vacational status in favour of principals, head of the Institutions and regularization and removal of Pay Anomaly of Physical Education Lecturers. DSEJ give a patient hearing to the delegation and assured for timely redressed of their grievances and issues.
