| Kotranka people forced to drink contaminated water | | |  Early Times Report
KOTRANKA, Mar 19: People of Kotranka are forced to drink dirty water as water pipes are broken from many places, water pipes are placed in dirty places from where rain water also mixed with drinking water and then same water is supplied to residential areas.
Surprisingly, these broken water pipes are ignored by Kotranka administration and PHE department even after watching these pipes every day in main Chowk Kotranka.
While talking with media persons some local residents of Kotranka namely Altaf Hussain, Mohd Javaid, Mohd Shabir, Layaqit Ali and Mohd Kabir told that PHE department is playing with our life's and by drinking this dirty water our children's are getting ill. Pipes are broken at every joint and no one bothers to fix them they added. They also appealed Administration Kotranka to look into this matter and direct PHE department to provide clean drinking water. |
