ABVP organises Youth Parliament of Ladakhi students

Jammu, Mar 31: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad Leh-Ladakh today organises a Youth Parliament of Ladakhi students at Jammu. In this conference ABVP Jammu Kashmir State President Dr. Permendra Singh, ABVP City President Leh Stanzin Tsetan, Jammu University Research Scholar Padma Dolma remains mainly present.
While interacting with students Dr. Permendra stressed focus on various issues and demands of Ladakhi students. He said that India is now become Superpower and students are the backbone of nation and India is now capable of doing cross border operations such as Surgical strike, Air strike.
Interaction session with students was also held during this youth parliament. In this session students raises various issues regarding education scholarships, students studying at Jammu did not cast their vote because of closure of roads at the time of elections. They demand to setup of polling station in Jammu so that they can cast their vote and choose their leader who can fulfil their demands. Students demand that if government is not able to setup of polling station at Jammu then they can made necessary arrangements to airlift students to Leh & Ladakh and specially the Zanskar student's demands for the separate District status for Zanskar sub-division so the students and public can abandon their various arising issues. Also the whole students have demand for reservation of seats in Master Degree programs in college and universities or to increase the seats according to district. Students also demands Hostel facilities for the Ladakhi Students studying in Jammu.
Also students demand a full fledge University for Ladakh and need to improve the education qualification and infrastructure in various School and Colleges of Ladakh. And the Nimo-Padum raod should be completed as soon as possible.
