3/31/2019 11:47:55 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 31: As exodus of party cadre going unabated due to attitude of an influential coterie within the party, PDP is finding it difficult to get workers to campaign for party candidates contesting elections on three Parliamentary seats of Kashmir Valley
Those who are handling social media of Mehbooba Mufti are appealing supporters and workers to work for her campaign. Although appeal has been made on behalf of Mehbooba Mufti, it is clear that this appeal has made by those who have been handling her social media accounts.
"Interested young party members and supporters who wish to work for my campaign are requested to inbox their name, constituency and contact numbers directly", Mehbooba Mufti posted in her Face Book account.
Credible sources said that PDP leadership is facing dearth of workers after majority of the senior leaders have deserted the party which has been hijacked by a coterie which has no influence among public. "Even in South Kashmir, which was once stronghold of party, PDP leadership is even finding it difficult to get polling or campaign agents so appeal has been made through social media", sources said and informed that except handful of sycophants majority of the young workers have left the party because party leadership has failed to take care of them.
