BGSBU launches online admission process 4/9/2019 11:21:54 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 9: Prof. Javed Musarrat, Vice Chancellor, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) launched online admission process for all diploma, graduate and post-graduate academic programs from 2019 onwards. Applicants will now be able to submit their application forms online and receive instant confirmation for successful submission of their application forms through email. The online admission facility can be accessed on official website of the university www.bgsbu.ac.in. Speaking on the occasion, Prof Javed Musarrat, said that this initiative would make the admission process more transparent, easy and accessible for students. He said that the online admission process responds to the evolving needs of globalization and reflects BGSBU's commitment to drive innovation and deliver beyond our geographic location. Prof. Musarrat congratulated the team members of CITES for their dedicated efforts in the design and development of the online portal for admissions. Earlier, Dean Academic Affairs, Prof. Iqbal parvez presented a brief overview of the admission process for the forthcoming academic session. He said that the online admission process will help in developing a database of the students and will also facilitate in regulating the admission in more transparent manner. Prof. Iqbal termed this as a historic moment in the life of BGSBU and said that the online admission process will pave the way for aspirants across the country to join BGSBU in various fields of study. Dr.Ashfaq Ahmed Zarri, Registrar of the University said that the online process will not only help to streamline the admission process, but will also make it easier and hassle free. Those who were present on the occasion included Prof. Mohammed Asghar, Dean Engineering, Prof.G.M.
