JAMMU APRIL 10: Tenth National Conference and Convocation on Acupressure and Holistic health was held at Indore on the eve of Golden Jubilee year and World Health Day under auspices of Institute of Holistic Medicine Indore affiliated to International University for Complementary Medicines, Medicina Alternative, Colombo which was attended by hundreds of Medical Experts associated with Acupressure from across the country.

Renowned Acupressure Expert and Gold Medalist Dr. Neeraj Vohra of Jammu of the Institution was honored on the occasion with Diamond Medal, an award conferred in recognition of his outstanding contribution and dedication in the field of Acupressure Therapy and another certificate of Life Time Achievement in recognition of his services to the suffering humanity and declared Top 12 Acupressure Academy Experts of different cities in India in the said Conference and convocation on Acupressure. He is consistently being honored by the Institute in recognition of his services rendered in the field of Acupressure.

It may be recalled that he was awarded Doctorate of Science in Acupressure in 1998, Excellence Award in Acupressure in 2000 and 2007, Gold Medal in 8th National Conference in April, 2009 and ACU Diamond in 3rd National Conference and Awards Ceremony held in Mumbai on 24th September, 2017 for Praise Worthy Achievement in the field of Acupressure. His services have equally been recognized in the State of Jammu and Kashmir. It is noteworthy that Principal Government Medical College, Jammu conferred a certificate in recognition of his noble and valuable contribution for serving people.

Subsequently title of SANSTHA SAMAAN was also awarded by NAMI DOGRI SANSTHA, J&K and J&K ADBI KUNJ; a Multilingual Literary Organization followed the suit.

It is pertinent to mention that Dr. Neeraj Vohra was the only Acupressure Specialist from the State of J&K in general and Jammu Region in particular who participated in Mumbai and Indore conference and many other such successive conferences held since 1997.
