No CBI probe in Rasana case is a miscarriage of Justice: Ch Lal Singh
4/13/2019 7:20:06 PM

Jammu:
President Dogra Swabhiman Sangathan and Ex MP, Ch Lal Singh addressed a public meeting at Rajpura, Hiranagar today. He attacked NC and PDP for labeling Dogras as ‘Pro-Rapist’ and hate-mongers and said that these parties have bigoted mindset and these parties accused Dogras of communalizing the Rassana issue but the injustice to the little goddess has been rendered by these parties who are keeping eye on the Jammu seats. But at the same time, it is very unfortunate that congress is talking the support of these parties to win the elections of the parliament. Obstinate BJP also failed in getting the CBI probe done which are exclusively meant for the people of Jammu province. The CBI inquiry would have restored confidence in Jammu. A so called powerful minister, Jatinder Rana and very close associate of PM were not able to get the CBI probe done. Can anyone believe this? No, it was deliberately done to appease the then Chief Minister Mehbooba.

We are demanding CBI Inquiry in the Rasana Case for the last one year and since then we have raised serious questions on the manner in which Crime Branch of Jammu and Kashmir Police has conducted the probe. DSS is on the roads for the last one year. Today exactly one year has passed but the administration seems to be least worried about the people of Jammu. The manner in which the demand for CBI inquiry is being declined does raise many questions on the claims of the state and center government delivering Justice and being fair with Jammu region. Ch Lal Singh said that, we will not let Kashmiri politics succeed and not let them destroy the secular fabric of Jammu region. The demand for CBI probe is not that of people belonging to a particular community but every Dogra wants CBI probe in the Rasana case, said the ex-Forest Minister.

Ch Lal Singh said that, the little angle was snatched from us by enemies of humanity. I would bow my head before the departed soul and seek blessings from her for getting Justice for her. I ask why did the state governments in the past approached CBI for cases where they found public opinion divided and people agitated in Kashmir valley, he remarked. Not accepting the demand for CBI probe in Rasana case is being interpreted as a miscarriage of Justice. Discrimination persists not only in these type of cases but in all the areas and we are not heard anywhere. Our emotions and feelings have no takers, therefore, we are fighting for the justice and now not only the CBI but we will seek justice in all the discrimination done to us.

Advocate Kirti Bushan, spokes person of the DSS also spoke on the occasion. Er. ML Sharma, Dr Ashok Sharma and advocate BS Jamwal were also present in the meeting.
