Education Deptt takes teachers for a ride
Tells them to fill online "Employee Data Form" again

Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 13: Education Department has been putting teachers to go through laborious exercise for filling up employees' data form time and again, which has been brewing resentment among the teachers' community who alleged that department seems to be incapable of keeping data once for all.
Sources told Early Times that department has been seeking details from teachers about their job profiles online. "Already the same details have been submitted three-four times to the department through online mode but one fails to understand that why department issues directions to the file the same detail time and again," they said.
They said that the department has been sending link "docs.google.com/forms/" to the teachers directing them to fill up form with details which consists of around 85 questions with different categories asking about personal profile, court cases, qualification, present status, first appointment post and promotion, address, previous five places of posting with tenure etc.
"It has been observed that whenever new Director takes over the charge of the department, the same detail is sought and it also raises questions that why department can't keep track of such records of teachers on its own for further use or and other reference to the new incumbent but instead it continue to put pressure on teachers to send the details," they said further adding that teachers had also expressed apprehensions about the secrecy of their details and claimed that there data is not safe and might be used by the companies to sell their products as their email address and contact number is written there. They further informed that there are many other government departments which don't ask for such detail then why only teachers are forced to go through such exercise every time. Whenever department is asked as to why this thing is done time and again, no satisfactory reply is given to the teachers.
