Jammu, Apr 28: Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) H&UDD have denied allegations of holding 'fake' degrees.
Showing relevant documents and no objection certificate (NOC) issued in his favour by various departments and the anti-graft agencies, the AEE said that long back some officers tried to implicate in fake cases. "However, the allegations levelled against me by some officers of same department, could not be established during investigation done by various agencies", he said showing documents and added that now the actual culprits who committed huge bungling and have retired from services, started witch-hunting again.
"In 2012, complaint against me was filed, however, I got clean chit in 2013 from government agencies which rigorously conducted enquiry against me but found nothing, and close the case and it could not prove", he said and added on the basis of department enquiry his name recommended for further promotions, and got the same time to time. "I was promoted on the basis of NOC, now after six years the people are trying to defame me near end of by job", he added. "None of my degree I obtained outside the state through distance mode and violates government's rules of that time, I have sufficient government orders and on basis of same documents/orders I got clearance/NOC", he added. |
