Jammu, June 10: A protest led by Sarpanchs Waseem Ahmed khan, Nazir Hussain Shah, Saiyaf Khan, Abdul Majeed Jatt, Safeer Shah, Aris khan, Altaf khan,Waseem khan,Mohd Aziz khan Sudhan and others are lodged a strong protest against the total failure of Governor Administration of Poonch in Mendhar deprived of basic amenities and facilities to general masses.
The Sumo Union President Kafeel Ahmed khan and Majdoor Union President( Bobby Khan),Youths President Raju Pathan, Jani Madyal, Ramiz Sudan Irfan Khan, Zaki Khan, Rinku Sharma, Alyas Khan had started protest at 8 am till 11am and blocked the Suran Mendhar road of Pmgsy at Harni chowk. The People's of the adjoining area , Sarpanchs, Youths also joined the protest against sub standard material used in pmgsy road of Suran Mendhar road by sub- let contractors in making walls and allegedly the work of this toad stopped by the the contractor for the last many months after earth cutting and digging of old worst road by shouting slogans against Governor Administration .
They further alleged that District Administration Poonch is not bothering towards the public grievances even number of times appeals were made to District Commissioner Poonch. Moreover, District Commissioner Poonch also gave assurance to us for earlier start of work after talk with Executive Agency officer of PMGSY. |
