| Cricket Academy inaugurated at DPS Udhampur | | |  Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, June 10: It was a proud moment for Delhi Public School Udhampur as the inaugural ceremony of Sunrise Cricket Academy was done in the premises of the school.
The chief guest of the day was Mithun Manhas, the Ranji Trophy player and currently the coach of Royal Challengers Bangalore while the guests of honour were Bhupinder Baghal, former Ranji and Dilip trophy player and Pro-Vice Chairman of Delhi Public School Udhampur Dr JC Gupta. The other dignitaries who were present included Shyam Lal Kalsotra (ex-Vice Chairman JKCA), Chander Mohan Sharma (ex-Vice Chairman JKCA), Guru Pratap (Former Ranji Player), Suresh Singh (Former Ranji Player) and Raj Kumar Bucha.
The chief guest Mithun Manhas congratulated team DPS, Udhampur for their extra ordinary effort in the field of sports. He said that Cricket is just not a game in India, it's more than that and solution to the aspirations of budding Cricket player of Udhampur is this cricket academy. He stated that whenever his help is required for the coaching of the kids, he would surely assist.
The Pro-vice Chairman of the school Dr JC Gupta stated "Good players practice till they get it right but the coaches of Sunrise Cricket Academy will see that great players will practice till they never get it wrong. |
