Akhnoor, June 10: First Annual Rajwal Kesari Dangal was organized by Rajwal Dangal Committee in Rajwal Panchayat of Block Bhalwal of Tehsildar Akhnoor here today. One day long event was organized under the overall supervision of Bhushan Bral Ex Sarpanch and Sanjeev Kumar Sharma Khelo India Coach.
The 1st malli main bout for RS 31000/ was fought between Nissar of J&K Police and Stanzin Luddar( Babba) of Domana Akhara Jammu. This bout was won by wrestler Nissar that lasted for 16 minutes. In all, 95 bouts were played in a day-long Dangal.
The second main bout for Rs 21000/ was fought between Dilear Khan of JKP and Sadiq of Domana Akhara which was won by Dilear Khan . Third bout was drawed between Kulbeer Singh of Domana Akhara & Bhadhur Khan of JKP. On the occasion Sanjeev Kumar Sharma Wrestler and Khelo India promoter in Distt Reasi was also felicitated for his constant volunteer contributions particularly in promoting Women Wrestling by the Rajwal Dangal Committee in presence of Sham Lal Sharma, Former Cabinet Minister & BJP Leader who was the chief guest on the occasion.
Ajay Sharma SDPO Akhnoor was the guest of honour while Sanjeev Gupta SHO Akhnoor and Sanjeev Kumar Sharma (Khelo India Wrestling promoter)were the special guests.
Roshan Bral,President Dogri Bhasha Academy Jammu presided over the function.
Members of Rajwal Dangal committee and technical officials who helped in the smooth conduct of this event included Rahul Dev Sarpanch Chowki, Retd. Captain Gullu Ram, Shishu sharma,Mela Ram, Girdhari Lal,Deepak Kumar, Ajay Kumar, Bodh Raj Bral, Mohan Punjabi, Vicky, Om Parkash NIS Wrestling Coach, Raj Hussein,Allah Mahi Rajinder Kumar Ranja and Sanjeev Kumar Sharma
