Modi's Winning Speech in 17TH Lok Sabha
Vinod Chandrashekhar Dixit6/29/2019 11:40:51 PM
PM Modi's first major speech in the 17th Lok Sabha revealed both his political and governance approach, and the legacy he is focused on creating his term in office. Modi used the remarkable mandate the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) won under his leadership to drive home the point that citizens had endorsed the work of his government in the first five years. He spoke about the welfare schemes which addressed the needs of the most deprived.
He also spent time focusing on the need to address the emerging water crisis in the country, and spoke of the creation of the Jal Shakti ministry as the nodal agency to deal with the issue. In his address to the people of the country, Modi said he might at times commit a mistake but he will not do anything with bad intent. He also advised workers and supporters to show restraint.
He spoke of Jawaharlal Nehru; and he reminded the Congress that he had repeatedly given credit to all past governments for the work done for nation building even when their own party had ignored the contribution of some of their PMs.
Modi's nearly 40-minute speech was a mix of him underlining his commitment to nationalism but also to the welfare of the poor. Modi also hinted at his humble beginnings, that he did not want anything for himself and his life was devoted to the people of the country. Modi's success, his speechifying and his background all seemed like a vital break with India's past -- one which many Indians were eager to cuddle.
Only Modi has the commitment, leadership quality, vision and the ability to lead the nation. He uses his powers of persuasion to give others a sense of participation in chalking out his chosen course of action. His clarity of vision, precise statements and astute sense of timing has played a major role in the BJP's Victory in every phase of election in India. He is a confirmed administrator, a leader with vision and above all, a patriotic Indian. one thing is great about Modi is that he knows how to play other people's game as well as his own while people increasingly find their hopes and inspiration lies with him. He scores way ahead any other politician across the country is development and governance. He is the first administrator to prove that administration is based on development and has no space for any negativity which is against of democracy.
The aim of our PM is to make India a developed nation while bringing about a complete transformation in the lives of the people through good governance, development and pro-poor, pro-farmer and pro-women policies. Corruption is rampant even today because there are no effective means to curb them and adequate deterrent. The nation trusts Modi and so his policies should come up to the expectations and within the reach of needy and poor.
The PM has rightly said that the victory was of toiling farmers who struggle to feed the nation, of those who now live in proper houses, of the middle class that follows the rules, pays taxes, but wondered if his taxes were being used for the benefit of the country. The initiatives taken to ensure insurance coverage to farmers, financial inclusion of poor, drinking water, sanitation, and housing schemes are all well-conceived. He claims to work round the clock, claims complete incorruptibility. This is an abiding feature of all his speeches, successful so far, in appealing to the reverence for asceticism steeped in Indian culture.
No one can say "NO" that India is now the world's fastest-growing major economy, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has won praise for shepherding that momentum. PM Narendra Modi comes across as an effective administrator, a proud Indian nationalist.
In his last address to the Lok Sabha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that it was for the first time in 30 years that the country had got a non-Congress 'gotra' government and that the world was now taking India more seriously because it had a majority government. The man "MODI - Ek Swayamsevak" in his life, the man who has never thought for him, he has just given his life for the Bharat mata. Majority of population feels and thinks Modi could change fortune of the nation with his strategies and policies. His idea is transformation through right governance, through transformation of mindset and cultivating positive ideas. There is no doubt that Modi comes across as an effective administrator and a proud Indian nationalist, and he is also a policy maven-introverted, precise, and even passionate about the most technical of subjects.
