I will be a call away if elected, Munish Gupta tells Bandu Rakh residents

Jammu, June 29: Assuring redresal of public issues on phone calls if elected as MLA, Editor Early Times, Munish Gupta, during his door-to-door campaign on Saturday evening interacted with the residents of some parts of Rakh Bandu area and listened to the problems being faced by them.

Interacting with masses, Munish Gupta assured them that they have not to visit their representative to get done works in their respective areas. “I will deliver what I’m promising with you”, Munish told the public in response to complaints regarding indifference of former MLAs.

During his visit, Munish interacted with Bandu Rakh, Ravinder Singh, Veeru, Iswhar Bhagat, Dr Anil, Kunal Saini, Joginder Singh, Kair Singh, Surinder Kour, Manjit Singh, Jaswinder Singh, Ashok Kumar, Baba Paramjeet Singh, Prativa Devi, Kulwinder Singh, Kamlesh Kour, Hardeep Singh, Harvinder Singh, Ashok Gupta, Abhinandan, Sheetu Bhagat, Vinod Kumar, Des Raj, Kuldeep, Neelam Choudhary, Ashok Kumar, Tanmeet Kour, Narinder, Sikander Singh, Ram Pyari, Gurmeet Kour, Sumit, Suman, Tej Pal Singh, Shivani Dubey, Kamal Jeet, Mandeep Singh and many other residents.

All the residents lamented that the former MLA Kavinder Gupta never visited the area after being elected to know whereabouts of his voters who elected him as their MLA. “Neither BJP nor Congress took care of us. We have choked drains, damaged streets and dilapidated roads in our locality”, they said and added that even street lights have not been installed.

The residents assured Munish that for betterment of their area they will vote for change, vote for Munish. Youngsters curiously and eagerly welcoming Munish shared civic issues of their respective area. “We regularly read Early Times. I appreciate your campaign with a hope people that will understand you, encourage you for betterment of this neglected area”, said Shivani while interacting with Munish. Other youngsters like Abhinandan, Kunal Saini and Sumit hugged Munish during his visit.

Happy over the overwhelming response during the mass contact programme, Munish requested the masses that they can share any grievance and other issues on his Whatsapp number 9419182402. The residents also informed that the canals are blocked, parks in the area have turned into garbage dumping site. Some residents also alleged that they were running pillar to get ration cards, entry into voter lists, but their problems are not being addressed.
