Skyview Patnitop organises FAM tour

Jammu, June 29: Skyview Patnitop by Empyrean (A subsidiary of FIL Industries Limited) organised a series of FAM tours for dignitaries, officials, media, and leading tour operators of India beginning from 25th June and culminated on 29th June at Patnitop today.
"Skyview Patnitop is one of India's leading PPP projects and I am hopeful that it will be a benchmark for future PPP based projects. I am sure this quest to offer tourists across India to a world-class facility amidst the tranquility of nature will significantly change the face of tourism not only in Jammu but all of north India." said Syed Junaid Altaf - Managing Director, Skyview Patnitop.
Empyrean Skyview Projects Limited was awarded the project on a PPP model and it took 2.5 years for completing its construction. The project is spread over 11 acres, with 10 acres at the lower terminal and 1 acre at the upper terminal.
The entire project was constructed at a cost of Rs. 150 Crores. The adventure tourism destination adheres to European safety standards and includes 18 cable cars.
The 2.8 kms CEN (European Standards) certified ropeway, features the longest span of 849 metres between eight towers with each cabin being able to accommodate eight people. As part of its efforts to bring the best of the world to India, the entire infrastructure, including the towers, ropes, and cabins has been imported from France through the support of Skyview Patnitop's technology partner POMA.
It includes one of India's highest and longest ropeways hovering above the picturesque hill-station of Patnitop amidst the Shivalik range of the Himalayas.
During the event, Syed Mujtaba Ali Jafary, Head Sales and Marketing thanked all for coming at the launch of the FAM tour. He shared with all those present there that Skyview Patnitop is truly a unique initiative for adventure seekers as well as families who would want to experience a one of its kind exciting getaways. It aims to be a one-stop destination for those who want to make the best of the fusion of nature and technology.
