| DPS girls won overall championship in Ladakh | | |  Early Times Report
Leh, July 27: Delhi Public School (DPS) Leh students brought laurels to the school by clinching positions in the various events held at Indoor Stadium Leh where the students of various schools have also participated.
DPS girls won the best overall championship in Ladakh School Olympics with 11- gold,2 - silver,4-bronze ,whereas from the boys category dps- boys brought laurel by clinching the gold in archery and silver in 200 meter and 100 meter rallies.
Students of Delhi Public School namely Minza Illahi and Chaitrali won Gold medals for Doubles in Badminton in Girls Category. Fahima Kausar and Maksuma Khatoon Won Gold medals for Doubles in Table -Tennis in Girls Category. Along with that Fahima Kausar excelled by clinching Gold for Girls Single Table - Tennis and Maksuma bagged Silver for Girls Single Table Tennis.
In Archery the Boys team of D.P.S. (Tanveer, Odsal, Namgail, Tsultim) Clinched the Gold whereas the Girls Team of D.P.S. (St. Chuskit, St. Chosdon, St.Namdol, St. Chuskit) bagged the Bronze Medals.
St.Dawa Clinched Silver Medal in Boys-Single Badminton, Nangskit Clinched Silver Medal In Judo category ,Shivam Satish Pandita bagged Silver Medal in 200mtr race, D.P.S team also won the Gold Medals for the mixed Rally. Fahima Kousar also Clinched the Gold Medal in the category of Girls Long Jump.
Officiating Principal H.K.Sidhu appreciated and applauded the efforts of the student for securing glimming positions and at the same time she also congratulated Teacher Padma Thinles and also extended her best wishes to the students.
