JAMMU, Aug30: Accusing Iltija Mufti, daughter of former CM Mehbooba Mufti, of issuing false, frivolous and juvenile statements in media about Kashmir, Raman Suri, State Executive Member Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today said that when both houses of Parliament passed the bill of abrogation of Article 370 and President of India put a seal on it, besides world is now recognizing that it was an internal issue of India that stands sorted out, why is she dubbing it as a clandestinely done affair.
Raman Suri said that Iltija in an interview to Rajdeep Sardesai of India Today claimed that a women walked for 12 hours only to deliver a still born baby which not only sounds kiddish but beyond truth. Had attendants asked the concerned SHO, cops could have helped her reach the hospital. Health services in entire Kashmir Valley are functional and people are getting medical aids as before. Asking Iltija not to indulge in rumour mongering, the BJP leader said that government is seized of the situation and is ensuring that everything including essentials are available to the people. It's only yesterday that students from Kashmir valley travelled to Jammu and have joined their colleges here.
He asked daughter of the first failed Chief Minister of J&K State not to compare J&K with Delhi or Mumbai, where we don't hear slogans of Azadi, so it will take some time for things to get back on rails. |
