Jammu, Aug 30: Editor Early Times Munish Gupta on Friday said that his mass contact programme has unnerved traditional politicians.
Munish who would be contesting the forthcoming assembly elections as an independent candidate from Gandhi Nagar constituency, during his public outreach programme at Jeevan Nagar asked people to cast their votes with utmost care and caution. "I have been coming to you people for the past three months you have spoken your heart out. As a journalist I have tried my best to highlight the problems being faced by the common people. This made the traditional politicians uncomfortable, as their in-efficiency has been exposed", said Munish.
He said, "I'm thankful to all of you for coming out and listening to me and endorsings my ideas. I hope you will turn the table on non-performer in the upcoming assembly elections. I need your vote and support to reach the legislature, where I can highlight your problems and become your voice."
Munish said, "I know that all of us are fed up status quo and want things to change. The change can only come through your vote. I know that I'm pitted against the leaders who are powerful and have been ruling us for the past seven decades. I need your vote and support to challenge their hegemony. I hope my people won't disappoint me." |
