The works are being done under the supervision of JMC at an estimated cost of Rupees 9 lakhs and the funds were sanctioned from the CDF (Constituency Development Fund) scheme of Former MLA which was sanctioned during his tenure and its work was delayed due to code of conduct of Parliamentary elections and administrative reasons, but the work was taken up as soon as the process got cleared.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that the residents of the area met him some time back and demanded for up gradation of lane in Jawahar Nagar, New Plot whose condition was deteriorated and it was quite difficult for the commuters to pass through the lane as its condition was very miserable.
