JKWDC's exhibition continues at Chandigarh

Jammu, Dec 27: The 10 days exhibition is being organized by J&K Women's Development Corporation at Sec-34 near Gurduwara Sahib Chandigarh sponsored by National Minorities Development & Finance Corporation, Ministry of Minority Affairs Govt. of India from 24th December, 2019 to 2nd January,2020.
A total of 80 women beneficiaries belonging to various Self Help Groups and holding different units financed under NMDFC Loan Scheme from different corners of State viz. Padder Kishtwar, Thanamandi Rajouri, Vijaypur Samba, Hiranagar, Kathua, Mahore Reasi, Bhaderwah Doda, Doru Anannag, Khull Noorabad Kulgam, Chadoora Budgam, Hadwara Kupwara, Kangan Ganderbal, Sumlar Bandipora, Shadimarg Pulwama, Qazigund, Banihal, Ramnagar, Udhampur. Poonch , Jammu etc are taking part in this exhibition.
The products displayed in this exhibition include Kashmiri handmade shawls/ Pashmina/Embroidery suits/Sozni items/Crewel items/Papier-machie/ Jute items /Dry Fruit/Artificial Flowers/ Bed covers/ Cushion covers/ Sweaters/, Jam/ Pickle/ Readymade Garments/ Jute Fancy Bags/ Dori and Plastic items etc. Besides these items, Laptop bags/ Sling bags/ Potlies/Folders etc/ are also put to sale. The aim of conducting such exhibition is to provide marketing support to loanee beneficiaries of JKWDC. Besides exhibition provides an opportunity for mutual interaction among co beneficiaries and SHGs. They learn and share their experiences by mutual interaction. This also becomes opportunity for the beneficiaries to hold the Buyer & Seller Meet in order to tap national market.
