JAMMU, Jan 2: Traders Federation Ware House Nehru Market Jammu held a grand function at Ware House on Thursday to welcome the UT Government's order abolishing Toll Tax on Goods. Traders of wholesale Mandi were present on the occasion and danced to the tune of Dhol amidst bursting of fire crackers. General Secretary of Federation, Deepak Gupta distributed sweets amongst the shopkeepers of Ware House and Nehru Market.
Deepak Gupta on behalf of traders, common people and consumers thank Narendra Modi, Honorable Prime Minister, Amit Shah, Honorable Home Minister, Dr. Jitendra Singh, MOS who took a lead in understanding this all important issue and finally abolished Toll Tax and Lt. Governor G.C. Murmu for taking this historic decision. Deepak Gupta on this occasion said that the Lakhanpur Excise Toll levy was not less than a Jazia tax that continued even after the implementation of GST. |
