DODA, Jan 16: Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kishori Lal Sharma today convened a meeting to review the arrangements of Republic Day- 2020.
The meeting was attended by ASP Doda, CPO, ACD and district officers of all Line Departments besides executive engineer of PWD, PDD and PHE and Higher Secondary School and other senior officer attended the meeting.
The meeting was informed that the main function will be held at Sport Stadium Doda whereas similar functions would be held at all Tehsil headquarters. The function will start with the shehnai wadan programme at 7.30 AM in the morning by the District Information Centre Doda.
ADC was apprised of the ongoing rehearsals for cultural items and March Past. The arrangements for drinking water, power supply, parking facility, first aid arrangements, sanitation, security, PAS, Fire tenders, preparation of tableaus, seating arrangements besides arrangements of Memento and refreshments were also discussed.
It was also decided that final full dress rehearsal will be held on 24th January 2020, besides screening of cultural items shall be conducted on 18th January by the designated committee.
