Development elusive in adjoining areas of Rajouri town
1/16/2020 11:09:24 PM

RAJESH TANDON
EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, Jan 16: The development in adjoining areas of Rajouri town seems to be missing wherein streets are dilapidated and absence of drainage system has been making the life of locals difficult.
Sources told Early Times that entire focus of development is given within the city area by the administration and the adjoining areas remain out of development purview of the administration. They further said that in Ward No 13 of Municipal Committee Rajouri has been lagging behind many basic amenities. Streets are in pathetic condition and absence of drainage system has been multiplying their problems. They alleged that politicians give focus only on Rajouri city and other areas are left unattended. “They give political speeches and make tall promises of development to get votes but after elections nobody come to listen to the problems of the people and their issued remain unaddressed,” alleged locals including Asif Naseer, Naseer Ahmad and Nasaar Hussain.
