Setback for Pak, terrorists
1/16/2020 11:08:13 PM
The J&K administration has made it clear that internet services in Kashmir cannot be resumed due to the prevailing threat from terrorists. Statement issued by the administration has made it clear that if the internet is resumed in the Valley terrorists will once again start getting orders from their bosses sitting across the Line of Control (LoC) and it could lead to situation once again turning volatile in the Valley.
Pak sponsored terrorists have emerged as a big nuisance for the people of Kashmir. These terrorists besides indulging in violence have misused all the facilities which the government had kept available for the denizens.
Post August 5, 2019, violence in Kashmir has declined as the terrorists have been unable to communicate with their masters on the other side.
Improvement in the situation and terror related incidents going down in Kashmir after suspension of the internet services in the Valley have vindicated the nationalist people, who for the past may years were trying to drive home a point that Pakistan is using internet as a tool to spread violence and terror in Jammu and Kashmir.
The reasons put forth by the Jammu and Kashmir Government about not restoring internet for general public in Kashmir look genuine as the ban on the internet has established semblance of normalcy in the Valley. The government’s explanation should serve as an eye opener for those who blindly used to support the terrorists and separatists in the Valley.
The handling of Kashmir situation by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) in a professional manner has even silenced its critics. They have been left with no argument to counter the decisions taken by the MHA as all these moves have been aimed at safeguarding the security of the people and the sovereignty of the country.
The decision of J&K Government about not to restore the internet in Kashmir is a big blow to Pakistan and terrorists handlers sitting across the LoC. They would have been hoping that the resumption of internet services would pave the way for them to once again open the communication channels with their stooges in the Valley so that they could once again get back to their old ways.
The strong worded statement issued by the Jammu and Kashmir administration has made it clear that internet won’t return to Kashmir soon as the national interest is supreme. It looks like that the internet will resume in Kashmir only after the menace of terrorism is wiped out completely.
