Sarpanch Association Doda, Association of Paramedical Colleges call on Lt Governor

JAMMU, Jan 16: A delegation of Sarpanch Association Doda called on Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu at the Raj Bhavan here today.
The delegation led by Mohd. Yousaf, Sarpanch, comprising of Ms. Makhoo Behum, Chairperson, Block Development Council, Pingal and Sher Mohammed and Sansar Chand- Sarpanches projected various developmental issues and demands of the Panchayats of Doda district.
The Lt Governor while interacting with the members of the delegation observed that the Government is making dedicated efforts for strengthening the Panchayats in J&K to ensure development at grass root level.
Meanwhile, a delegation of Association of Paramedical Colleges headed by its President , M.S Katoch also called on the Lt Governor and apprised him about the concerning issues of Paramedical and Nursing Colleges.
The members of the delegation raised issues pertaining to continuation of GNM course, issuance of Pharmacist licenses, induction of representatives of the Association in the Council meeting and establishment of University for Health Sciences. They also submitted a representation for registration and recognition of Electro-Homoeopathy and Electropathy.
The Lt Governor assured the delegation that the genuine issues projected by them would be looked into for examination and early redressal.
