| Anti-encroachment drive launched | | |  Early Times Report
Vijaypur, Feb 9: Sub Division Magistrate (SDM) Vijaypur Chander Parkash launched anti-encroachment drive in Vijaypur market during which illegal encroachment made by the businessmen in main bazaar were removed.
Though businessmen and shopkeepers have expressed concern over the anti-encroachment drive but SDM said that told that prior to the drive, many times the Executive Magistrate, Vijaypur had issued the directions to the shopkeepers to remove the encroachments from the footpath as well as drainage system.
He said that illegal encroachments caused the un-precedent traffic jam and obstruction for pedestrians in the main bazaar. He appealed the businessmen to support the administration for removing the illegal encroachment from the market and to make the market beautiful.
