EARLY TIMES REPORT
UDHAMPUR, Feb 9: The official website of district Udhampur it seems has not been updated since long as names of several officers being displayed on it have already been transferred from the district.
The then Executive Engineer PWD (R&B), Purshotam Kumar was transferred out of district Udhampur approximately six month back but his name along with his designation is still visible on the website. Likewise Tehsildar of Majalta, Rajinder Kumar had been transferred about two years ago but according to the website’s information he is still continuing as a Tehsildar of Majalta.
In yet another instance of website’s poor update, though Daljeet Singh, then Chief Education Officer (CEO) Udhampur was transferred to another place but the name and telephone number of the new CEO is yet to be uploaded on the website.
Similarly, Rimpy Ohri, Programme Officer of ICDS Udhampur had been transferred around three months back but the same has not been updated on the website.
This poor updation of the website is becoming a problem for those who look for contacts, names and designations of the officers.
