| Police holds awareness meeting | | |  Early Times Report
Samba, Mar 21: District Police Samba today held an interaction cum awareness meeting on Corona virus safety with the leaders/moulvis of Muslim community of Bari Brahmana and its adjoining areas at the office of SDPO Bari-Brahmana.
The meeting was chaired by Addl. SP Samba accompanied by SDPO Bari-Brahmana & SHO Bari-Brahmana. The main objective of the meeting is to make the participants aware about the basic protective measures to be taken as a preventive measure to contain the spread of the virus in their communtiy and in the adjoining areas.
Speaking on the occasion, Addl. SP Samba laid emphasis to follow Do’s and Dont’s for self protection and for the safety of others as issued by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India/ Health & Medical Education Department J&K.
At the last, the Chairing Officer urged upon the all the leaders / Moulvis /prominent persons of the muslim community present on the meeting to further aware their near ones, neighboures and relatives to stay at home, prevent any kind of social gathering and maintain social distance as these are the only key measures to contain the spread of virus. |
