| PMGSY road in Sunderbani lying incomplete, people demand probe | | |  Ajay Sharma

Rajouri, Mar 23: The construction work of Makol Mandir –Hathal- Khanna Bagh road under PMGSY in Sunderbani Tehsil of district Rajouri has been lying incomplete.
Sources told Early times that the road work started 2017-18 from Makol Mandir –Hathal- Khanna Bagh having length of 22 kms at the estimated cost of Rs 13 crore has to be completed in 18 months but it has been more than two and half year till date even the earth work has not been completed depriving people of benefit. They alleged that substandard material is being used under PMGSY Scheme. Despite restriction, 80 % stone were used in construction of side drains.
The local panch and sarpanch of Tehsil Sunderbani registered their complaint with concerned AEE, JE PMGSY but they didn’t take any action. XEn PMGSY Subassh Dogra said he went to spot and instructed contactor to use genuine material. Local panch and sarpanch demanded inquiry by ACB by scrutinizing documents. |
