No ration for poor in Vijaypur
4/2/2020 10:44:26 PM
Early Times Report

Vijaypur, Apr 2: The 21-day lockdown has been done across the country and in view of the lankdown the Prime Minister of the country said that no poor will be kept hungry in the country.
The government will provide free three months ration material in their homes and necessary facilities will be provided. People said that the government only makes promises at the ground level, the poor are not getting anything, due to which people got upset and demonstrated against the district administration.
A large number of villagers gathered and raised slogans against the administration. According to the information, Dharam Pal, Ratano Devi, Kanta Devi Reetu Devi, Jeeto Devi Santosh Kumari, Sudesh Kumari, Utam Chand, Madu Ram, Govind Ram Sonu Kumar etc. told that the Panchot, sarpanches of Panchayat have not yet come towards our village Shivanagar. Did not see nor did the government see.
Due to which we have become disenchanted with the laborers and the rogue grain. They have demanded from the government that the poor helpless people of our village should also be given ration on behalf of the government. So that the ongoing trouble of hundreds of people can be ended. Because we have not yet been given any ration facility by the government, due to which we have to stay hungry thirsty. Villagers have appealed to Lieutenant Governor Girish Chandra Murmu to pay attention to this.
