Rajouri Students contribute 11 thousand rupees in DDMF to fight against COVID-19

RAJOURI, April 10: In an effort to help the district administration to fight against the Corona Virus pandemic, the students of the Rajouri district including Riya Sharma (B.A.M.S student), Rushali Sharma (Law student) and Radeshwar Sharma (Class 10th student) today contributed an amount of Rs.11 thousand out of their personal savings in District Disaster Management Fund.
They have appealed to other students of the district to come forward and contribute as per their capacity to help the district administration fight against Corona Virus pandemic.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner, Mohammad Nazir Sheikh expressed his gratitude to the students for their contribution in district DDMF and said that the whole amount received from the general public during Corona Virus crises shall be transferred to the health department for the augmentation of the health infrastructure.
He further said that district administration Rajouri is working hard to ensure that all basic facilities are provided to common masses without any delay so that they don't feel any inconvenience in their daily life during the lockdown period. He also assured that sufficient stock of the essential commodities is available and general public need not panic.
Additional SP Liyaqat Ali and Additional Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Sher Singh were present on the occasion.
