Jammu, Apr 13: Continuing it's duty towards humanity by serving ration, HelpAge India, an International Organisation working for the welfare of Elders, today celebrated Baisakhi festival by distributed ration and essential items to 50 families of labourers belonged to other states and staying in Rajpura Magotrain area in Jammu.
The Jammu Unit of HelpAge India today identified the families of labourers, who are jobless these days and served essential items to 50 families at Rajpura locality area of the city.
HelpAge India caring nation wide for disadvantaged elderly senior citizen for more than 42 years.
It is recognised as a one stop destination for infront on the aging scenario in India. It has over the years established itself as one of the most important social service organisation in the country which works actively during disasters Entire nation is in panic of Pandemic , Covid -19 , so Helpage lndia showing its exemplary action by Distrito g ration & essential items to a slum area of labourers in Rajpura locality.
The HelpAge India Team distributed Dry ration along with other items to 50 families . Their main motive is no needy person goes hungry during the Covid -19 lockdown and motive is to be leave no one behind in this crucial period .
