Jammu, Apr 20: The Executive Committee of Amar Singh Club Jammu today donated a Cheque of Rs. 4 Lacs towards the Prime Minister’s Care Fund and a Cheque of Rs. 2 Lacs to the Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu. This cheque was presented by the Executive Committee Members of the Club to the Divisional Commissioner, Jammu.
The said amount was donated by the worthy members of this Prestigious Club of Jammu. Hony Secretary of the Club, Vijay Saraf while handing over the Cheque of Prime Minister’s Care Fund to Sanjeev Verma, Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Lauded his dedicated efforts and decisions towards making our Society Safe during this Pandemic Situation.
He further thanked Div Comm for his suggestion to request the worthy club members to come forward and donate towards this noble cause and it was due to his push only that the Management committee of the club managed to get this donation. Further as directed by the Vice President of the Club, the Management Committee also handed over a Cheque of Rs. 2 Lacs to the Indian Red Cross Society, for procuring the ration and other essential items for the Poor and needy people of the society. |
