Jammu, Apr 20: In its endeavour to fight against COVID-19 pandemic & in view of resumption of work in High Court & other Govt Offices, Jammu Municipal Corporation on the directions of Avny Lavasa, Commissioner, JMC has conducted a special drive for sanitization of areas in & around Govt Offices & entire High court complex including district court complex & Advocate General office complex. During day long exercise fumigation /spray of sodium hypochlorite solution through mechanical pumps & boom sprayers have been done to sanitize the buildings & road leading to various govt offices. In order to ensure safety of general public in offices where foot fall is high & chances of further spread of virus is comparatively high, JMC also installed four more disinfectant tunnels as part of exercise conducted to sanitize the public offices & vegetable markets. These include High Court Complex, Janipur, Advocate General office & Fruit Mandi, Narwal. Besides, Sumeet Gupta, Distributor of Hindustan Unilever (Komal enterprises) and Deepak Singh, ASM of HUL have extended their helping hands to JMC by donating hand sanitizers and soap cakes to the Jammu Municipal Corporation on such crucial and tough time for further distribution among the frontline workers in view of Covid-19 outbreak. |
